I started getting into 35mm photography about 5 years ago, maybe poor timing, but I haven't gotten the same quality results from a digital camera yet (although I just got an LX5 and it's doing a great job). I have a Nikon FM2n with some classic Nikkor AI lenses I spent a long time collecting on eBay. I did a lot of research on equipment that you can check out on the resources page.

I mostly shoot transparencies because I like the high contrast and high saturation, especially with Fuji Velvia 100. That being said, Astia 100F is also becoming one of my favorites for the completely opposite reason. These images have been scanned and adjusted in Photoshop, but in each case I've mainly tried to mimic how they look on my light box. Each image also has the film and lens I used. Enjoy!
